11-15-19 NBA Blog Train Friday: 8 Games
Pistons at Hornets +4 UNDER 220.5
The Pistons went on a late 9-0 run to make this a barn burner. The 9-0 run was three 3-balls in a row: Langston Galloway, D-Rose and then Langston Galloway again.
In a tie game 106-106 with 1 second left, Malik Monk called game.
Hornets 109, Pistons 106.
Blake was stunned.
Drummond got his 15 points and 15 boards in the fashion of 16 points and 20 rebounds.
The aforementioned Langston Galloway was a big spark off the bench for Detroit, strumming 7 of 11 threes en route to 32 points in a game-high 38 minutes.
James Borrego deployed nine Hornets: six scored 10 or more points and all nine scored at least 7 points. Charlotte plays sound team ball.

Spurs +2.5 at Magic OVER 211
We got the Over in at the last second, just before tip-off. It got off to a quick start but cooled down with Orlando’s shooting woes. The second half was gravy. This was a relatively Squeaky Lock, but it pulled through!
Thank gawd we stayed away from the spread. The Magic were up by 2 with 0.3 seconds left with Evan Fournier shooting his second free throw. Fournier proceeded to miss the freebie on purpose for the game to be over. But the Magic did. not. cover.
Magic 111, Spurs 109.
T-Ross had his best game of the season by far with a season-high 20 points, the previous high of 13 points was in the last game on Wednesday vs. Philly. T-Ross was a huge part of Orlando’s success last season, so this is very encouraging.
Markelle Fultz was 7 for 7 at the free throw line.

Pacers at Rockets -6 UNDER 226.5
UNDER 226.5 was the Lock of the night! A Pure Lock all the way through. We looked closely at the numbers on this one. Removing the Rockets-Wizards 317 point total aberration, the Rockets average total was 226.5 coming into this game and the Pacers total average was 212. Those averages together = 219.25 or 7+ points UNDER the 226.5 this O/U closed at.
Boom. Roasted.
Rockets 111, Pacers 102.
No Capela. No Danuel House. No Eric Gordon.
Harden was one on again. (Forever and always.) 44 points on 13 of 26 shooting, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The Beard made 6 threes (on 14 attempts) and ALL six were step backs.
Brogdon only played 9 mins, leaving the game with back spasms and did not return. The Pacers (surprisingly) still remained competitive without him. The Pacers are so damn pesky.

76ers at Thunder +3.5 OVER 214
Rooster had a great look at the very end of regulation. He made up for it in OT.
Thunder 127, 76ers 119. OT
There was a slight discrepancy at the free throw line: Thunder 35 of 41. 76ers 15 of 22.
Philly has lost 5 of the last 7. We are only halfway through November, but it’s Philly, which means it’s time hit the panic button. Hang in there, brotha.
Tobias Harris fouled out in OT. He was upset. Or was he asleep?
Rooster was giving him fits all night.

Jazz at Grizz +7.5 UNDER 215
We got the Grizz in at +8 which was mostly a Pure Lock. Memphis even led by as many as 11 in the 2nd quarter. There was a slight scare at the end of the 3rd quarter when Utah grabbed a 5-point lead. But the Baby Grizz showed out in the 4th!
Grizzlies 107, Jazz 106.
Reverse Revenge Games are so IN.
Also IN: Ja Morant.
If you are not jumping on the Young Ja bandwagon now, you are going to get left far, far behind.

Wizards +6 at Timberwolves OVER 239.5
No Andrew Wiggins in this one who is clearly Minnesota’s glue guy.
Wizards 137, T-Wolves 116.
30 points and 15 rebounds for Moe Wagner!?!? 4 of 4 from three for Moey V?!?!?
Real Deal Brad Beal: 44 points (on 22 shots!), 10 assists and a +31 net rating. Not too mention a pile of fantasy points for us. We love our Blue Panda.
Another HIGH scoring affair for the Wiz.

Celtics at Warriors +7 UNDER 223
Cardiac Kemba is clutch AF.
Is it too early to say: Kemba > Kyrie ?
Celtics 105, Warriors 100.
The Dubs were competitive — very competitive and even led by 15 at one point — but it didn’t stop Steph from staring into the abyss of this lost season.
This is Mr. Krabs like.

Two close ones to end the evening. Multiples TVs are a MUST, especially in a situation like this!

Kings +10.5 at Lakers UNDER 214
Welp. We won our first three bets on Lakers games this season, but now we have lost 5 straight. -10.5 probably would have hit if not for one Bogdan Bogdanovic. Not all is lost, however. We picked up Bogey in fantasy last night. And at least we didn’t take the Lakers Over! #progress
LeBron hit BOTH of his free throws with 5.5 seconds left. And then AD stuffed Barnes at the buzzer.
Lakers 99, Kings 97.
Kuzma’s hair is so much better this way.
Year 17. Still throwing down Akron Hammers. Power dunking fools out of the galaxy.
Meet us at the cleaners!!!

Saturday night’s slate has 8 games on the schedule. We are most intrigued by Raptors-Mavs and Hawks-Clippers, hopefully our first look at Kawhi and PG! We love this game!
