Chasing Pure Locks: Tuesday, November 9th, 2021
Fresh off a perfect 3-0 last night, we are presented with just 3 games on the menu tonight.
We undoubtedly prefer the bigger slates for Chasing Pure Locks (like tomorrow night’s 13 games), but sometimes it’s nice to focus in on just a select few.
Can we hit back-to-back 3-0’s to turn this ship all the way around?
Only one way to find out.
Pure Lock #1: Bucks -6.5 at 76ers
We were eyeing Bucks -6 all day.
When the Seth Curry news broke (he’s out tonight), we pounced on Bucks -6.5. It has since moved to Bucks -7.
These Sixers will still have some fight in them, but the defending Champion Bucks could really use a big win, having lost 5 out of their last 6 games.

Tempted to take the Jazz, but 8 points is a lot for a Hawks team that should have a fire lit under their ass, having lost six out of the last seven games, including last night in SF. Since they are on the second night of a back-to-back, we’ll stick with the Under.
We also have a long history with Jazz Unders. The Junder!
(In fact, it’s been exactly two years and one day since we hit a fabulous Jazz Under vs. the Bucks thanks to a Bojan Bogdanovic buzzer-beater that saved us from going into OT.)
