Chasing Pure Locks: Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021
We went 1-2 in our official debut last night, so it’s time to get back on the horse!
Chasing Pure Locks.
The title should be pretty self-explanatory. (That is, unless you don’t know what a Pure Lock is.)
A Pure Lock is a bet that you win, and the bet is golden from the jump. A Pure Lock is a dominant victory from start to finish. A Pure Lock is what we’re chasing.
A lite Tuesday night slate features five games on the menu.
Pure Lock #1: Bucks at Pistons Under 212
The Bucks are without Khris Middleton (protocols), Jrue Holiday (ankle) and Brook Lopez (back) with DiVincenzo (ankle) still out as well.
It’s been tough sledding for Giannis and the Bucks without the entire starting lineup save for Giannis.
The offense has struggled to get going as the Bucks are coming off three straight losses (all at home) to the T-Wolves, Spurs and Jazz.
Meanwhile the Pistons offense is 29th in the NBA, averaging 96.2 points per game.
Cade is likely to play tonight in just his second game for the Pistons, and that’s exciting, but we are still taking this Under without hesitation.

Pure Lock #2: Heat -2.5 at Mavs
We have long been on record of not wanting to bet against Luka ever since he drilled a magnificent step-back 3 dagger to cap off a 42-point triple-double when we had the Spurs two years ago on 11/18/19.
But the Heat are really freaking good.
And the Mavs have not been playing well against superior competition. The Mavs wins have come against the Raptors, Rockets, Spurs and Kings while they lost to the Hawks and Mavs by a combined 57 points.
Porzingis and Kleber are both Out.
Bam was Questionable but is now set to play.
We are riding with the Heat’s incredible defense in this one.

Pure Lock #3: Rockets at Lakers -10
Plain and simple: The Lakers owe us from Sunday night.
We had the Lakers -10.5 against these same Rockets. The Lakers were up by as many as 28 points, but they won by 10.
It was a Slippery Lock that slipped away and a definite BAD BEAT.
Also, the Rockets are a super young team that has now been chillin’ out in LA for far too long.
Lock. It. Up.
