08-04-20 NBA Bubble Blog Train Tuesday

Six games on the Tuesday slate.

Let’s get it!

Nets +18.5 “at” Bucks Over 230

Justin Anderson, surprised to see ya! Power Dunk Rating: 3.7 out of 5.

The Nets played some good ole fashion chuck ball.. and it worked!

Nets 119, Bucks 116.

Giannis and Middleton did not play in the second half, but this was still the biggest upset in terms of point-spread in the NBA in 25 years! The Nets MoneyLine was +1450!

The Nets leading scoring was Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (career-high 26 points) who fouled out with 2 minutes left.

It was great to see Jamal Crawford finally back out there, but he pulled a hammy in the 2nd quarter and didn’t return.

Mavericks “at” Kings +6 Under 236

Shifty and nifty Fox. But we still really really miss the hair. :/

Youngest player ever to record a 30/20/10 triple-double. He’s 21 years old! LukaMagic continues.

As you might know, we thoroughly enjoy the “Call me!” 3 celebration.

Mavs 114, Kings 110. OT

The Kings led for the majority of this game but let it slip away. Fox missed a potential game-winning fadeaway buzzer beater at the end of regulation. The Kings are now 0-3 in the bubble.

Bogdanovic was 1 for 15 shooting from the field. #yikes

Free throws: Mavs 39 of 50. Kings 8 of 12. A slight discrepancy.

Suns +9 “at” Clippers Over 230

The Suns led for the vast majority of this game, but Kawhi got going late and it was tied 115-115 with 30 secs left…

BOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!

Suns 117, Clippers 115.

OUR Suns are 3-0 in the bubble!!!

Magic “at” Pacers +1.5 Over 224.5

Nate Dogg texted us about the Pesky Pacers fucking on fucking fire against his Magic. Seven threes in the 1st quarter, racking up 43 points!

Pacers 120, Magic 109.

The Pacers are 3-0 in the bubble despite losing Sabonis.

We need the Pacers and Heat to play in the playoffs like we need water and oxygen. Theory: the Jimmy Butler feud fueled T.J. Warren’s fire!

Markelle Fultz in the Orlando bubble: 4 for 4 from three!

Celtics “at” Heat +5 Push 218

Is… is Jae Crowder’s nickname Bossman?? His Basketball-Reference page says it’s “The Beast.” Well, his Twitter handle is @CJC9BOSS. So there you have it.

Tatum must be taking notes from Kemba’s favorite in-and-out dribble. Also, the replies to this tweet were not very pro-Brad Wanamaker.

However, Wanamaker was a +4 tonight and it was Marcus Smart on the other hand who was a -16…

The net barely moved. Like, at all.

Heat 112, Celtics 106.

No Jimmy Butler, no problem for the Heat! Bam and the aforementioned Duncan Robinson picked up the slack with 21 points apiece.

Rockets “at” Blazers +3.5 UNDER 244.5

The Under here would have been the Lock of the Night. We are talking wayyyy UNDER.

Nurkic power dunk! Power Dunk Rating: 2.7 out of 5.

Westbrook power dunk! Power Dunk Rating: 3.3 out of 5.

MELOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Oh how sweet it must feel for Melo to hit the dagger against his former team.

Blazers 110, Rockets 102.

The Blazers sure look like a major threat to sneak into the playoffs. Just a completely different team with Nurkic and Collins back.

Six more games tomorrow/Wednesday, but the Bubble Blog Train will not be leaving the station for the next couple days. We’ll catch you next time!

We love this game!
