NBA Blog Train: Media Day - Eastern Conference

NBA Media Day has come and gone. Except for the Lakers who are up tomorrow.

So let’s check in on the 15 Eastern Conference teams.

(We included the Over/Under win totals for each team, because the season is only three weeks away. It’s time to start thinking about your bets! We also included our picks based on the team’s Media Day. These are not our official selections. Closer to the season, we’ll have our division by division Season Preview with the Case for the Over and the Case for the Under along with our official pick for each team.)

Orlando Magic (O/U 21.5 wins)

Protect the Lopez brothers at all costs.

Big Chum is one of the most underrated nicknames in the league right now.

Hammering Over 21.5 wins for the Magic.

Kuzma looking cornier than ever right here.

Definitely Under 34.5 wins for the Wiz.

Agree wholeheartedly. And he doesn’t look happy about it.

Gotta go with Under 42.5 wins for the Bulls.

Indiana Pacers (O/U 42.5 wins)

Here’s to hoping they get more minutes than Josh Green (11.4) and Tyrell Terry (5.1) last year.

Under 42.5 wins for the Pacers.

Boston Celtics (O/U 45.5 wins)

Having a hard time deciding on this one. Will update later on with thoughts from Babs. (Update: Babs says looks like doo doo lol)

Let’s stick with Over 45.5 wins for the C’s, cause JB does still have a nice beard.

Atlanta Hawks (O/U 47.5 wins)

It’s crazy that Sharife is on a two-way contract, but the Hawks are DEEP.

You already know we are putting a bag on the Hawks Over 47.5 wins.

First thought was when was the last time Kyle saw Jimmy?

Second thought was Jimmy could have just gotten them.

Coach Bud and Brook Lopez never cease to make us laugh. Protect the Lopez bros AT ALL COSTS!!

Over 55.5 wins for the defending Champs.

Brooklyn Nets (O/U 56.5 wins)

The Nets new sponsor is Webull, and according to this Sportico article: “The terms of the deal, including length and value, aren’t being disclosed by the organizations.”
